Atlantic Pacific Global Logistics, a global leader in logistics and supply chain management services, was awarded the King’s Award for Enterprise 2024 in the International Trade category this week.

The government confirmed that His Majesty The King has accepted the Prime Minister’s recommendation for the award, which is the most prestigious recognition for UK businesses.

Atlantic Pacific earned this honour after a comprehensive government audit which highlighted their impeccable compliance with HMRC, strong practices in environmental and governance areas, a remarkable increase in overseas revenue, and significant annual growth.

Ashley Nichols, Chairman of the Atlantic Pacific Group, remarked, “We are proud and honoured to receive this fantastic award, which is a testament to the incredible efforts of our remarkable team.”

He further noted, “The fact that this accolade is awarded to so few, especially to those of us within the freight forwarding and logistics sector, makes the achievement even more special to us.”

“Our business has successfully grown year-on-year through innovation, hard-work and dedication, and recognition like this will only strengthen our determination to continue providing industry leading solutions.”

Recent months have seen a series of recognitions for Atlantic Pacific, including making the FEBE 100, Fast Growth 50, and Growth Index 100 lists, along with winning the British International Freight Association’s (BIFA) Award for European logistics in January.

Part of the Atlantic Pacific Group, the company has been a stalwart of British business since 2000, operating from the UK, USA, and Ireland, and nearing a quarter-century of delivering innovative supply chain solutions.

Known for their unique freight service and supply chain ethos, the company focuses on continuous improvement to better serve their clients.

The second King’s Awards For Enterprise is marked on the first anniversary of His Majesty’s Coronation, continuing a tradition that dates back to 1965 with the former Queen’s Awards.

Furthermore, Atlantic Pacific is set to attend a reception at Windsor Castle, to be hosted by His Majesty The King later in the year.
