The Chartered Institute of Brewers and Distillers (CIBD), a leading provider of technical education in the brewing industry, has officially launched a new self-assessed and on-demand course – Packaging for Brewers. This course aims to equip brewers with the essential knowledge and skills for working efficiently with packaging operations.
The Packaging for Brewers course is the latest addition to CIBD’s Continuing Professional Development (CPD) short courses, which have been highly popular among brewers of all levels. It is specifically designed for brewers working in breweries of all sizes, providing a practical understanding of packaging materials and operations. Upon completion, brewers will be equipped to ensure a cost-effective and sustainable packaging process, as well as maintain the quality of their beer.
The course has been developed in collaboration with experienced and accomplished brewers, packaging professionals, and suppliers of packaging materials and equipment. It offers the same level of technical excellence found in all CIBD qualifications, without the need for a formal exam.
The course includes a downloadable PDF with technical information, such as a detailed summary of the course content, troubleshooting tips for beer in packaging, and quality checks for packaged products. It also features engaging text, videos, animations, quizzes, and games to enhance the learning experience. Upon completion, learners will receive a Certificate of Completion.
