The last category for the EGR Marketing & Innovation Awards is the ‘Supplier’ category, which awards nominees for their marketing campaigns, and is another new section that’s been added to the 2021 ceremony. Bingo Marketing Campaign Award The most notable category for the 2021 Awards is the Bingo Marketing Campaign — rewarding the marketing initiatives taken by its nominees, and recognising the creativity, originality and quality of their campaigns in relation to playing online Bingo. The nominees for this category include:
  • Foxy Bingo
  • Paddy Power Bingo
  • PlayOJO
And their campaigns are certainly weird and wonderful, with Paddy Power Bingo in particular showcasing their online Bingo site through a competition involving drag queens, Bingo balls and a MINI Cooper. Sounds interesting, right? The campaign was known as ‘Guess or Drag It Out’ and consisted of contestants guessing how many balls could fit inside the car, extravagantly placed by the famous and glamorous drag queens. Not only did it fit the creativity aspect of the brief, but it also saw direct results and emphasised the brand values of Paddy Power Bingo.
