Big-name comedians are set to entertain at the Stand Up for Animals Comedy night, slated for November 10 at Komedia, with proceeds supporting the crucial work of International Animal Rescue (IAR). The lineup includes well-regarded performers such as Andrew O’Neill, praised by Time Out for “hitting new heights of comedy,” Jen Brister, who has been deemed “explosive” by The Sunday Times, and Daniel Foxx, described as “hilarious” by Rolling Stone.
Jeanette from International Animal Rescue commented on the event, stating, “We know that there are many animals at risk around the world and currently there are orangutans in Indonesia who are really suffering at the moment. We would love everyone to come and help us raise money for these animals. The International Animal Rescue team can’t wait to see you there and we hope you’ll invite your friends along too as it’s a great value night out with some top notch comedy talent, we can’t thank the comedians enough for their support.”
All funds raised during the event will directly aid IAR’s efforts in caring for animals in need, making this evening a perfect opportunity to support a vital cause while enjoying a fun night out with friends.
The comedy show kicks off at 7:30 PM, with doors opening at 6:30 PM in the Komedia Basement. Seating is unreserved, and the event welcomes individuals aged 16 and over, with a vegetarian snack menu offered. Tickets for the event start at £18, plus a £2 booking fee.
