Second Edition of Design Mumbai Set to Showcase Dynamic Mix of International and Local Brands and Institutions at Jio World Garden in November 2025
Mumbai, India – Design Mumbai, the international trade event for design, architecture, and interiors professionals, is set to return for its second edition from 26 – 29 November 2025 at Jio World Garden. The event will feature a curated selection of both international and local brands and institutions, showcasing the best of contemporary design.
This year’s edition promises to build on the success of its landmark debut and expand its reach, delivering high-quality content and facilitating impactful cultural dialogue. Design Mumbai offers a world-class platform that bridges India’s creative energy with global innovation, while spotlighting local talent and fostering meaningful connections across the hospitality, retail, workplace, and residential sectors.
Among the first names confirmed for the event is Refractions, a collaboration by Adam Markowitz, American Hardwood Export Council, and Phantom Hands Design Mumbai. The highly anticipated installation will feature a diverse collection of works developed through a series of high-profile design collaborations, showcasing the sustainable use of American cherry, maple, and red oak in sculptural furniture pieces.
Also joining the event is Japan-based Set Up Co., featuring minimalist designs from two Japanese brands, Kakuhan and Reset. French mother and daughter duo Dorothée Giey and Pia Pijselman of Lux Temporis will present kinetic lighting creations that merge mechatronics and nature in a mesmerising fusion of art and engineering.
The event will also feature a strong line-up of local talents, including Karkhana, Chacko, and Hearty Muse Atelier. Sarvatva, founded by three women designers in 2024, will showcase handcrafted teak wood furniture that blends ancient Indian philosophies with contemporary aesthetics.
Hobo Houz, established by textile designer and pen-and-ink artist Varsha Patra, will showcase the vibrant art of Aari embroidery translated into contemporary lifestyle pieces that celebrate Indian textile heritage.
Design Mumbai 2025 will also welcome back an array of India-based exhibitors from its inaugural edition, including Stonelite, AKFD Studio, Rvardé, Shailesh Rajput Studio, FAZO Project, and Lila.
