World of Business Ideas (WOBI) has announced the first edition of the World Business Forum in London, which will take place at ExCel London from June 5-6, 2019.

World Business Forum is the world’s biggest management event which takes place over two days and brings together thousands of senior decision-makers with a passion for business. They come to learn from and be inspired by some of the world’s most renowned figures from business and beyond – a blend of content comprised of CEOs, entrepreneurs, innovators, thinkers, artists and sportspeople. The event focuses on the issues most relevant to today’s businesspeople, stimulating new thinking and inspiring action.

“During the past 15 years, the World Business Forum has taken place in some of the world’s most important business hubs, so it is truly an honor for me to announce the first edition of the World Business Forum London,” said Alberto Saiz, WOBI CEO. “Our special speaker line-up will help to refresh and update your already-extensive knowledge, and from our previous events, the valuable insights can be promptly implemented into organizations.”

This year, the World Business Forum London will explore the theme of Exponential. As technological advancement accelerates transformation, the traditional ways of doing business are becoming rapidly obsolete. The principles of incrementalism and linear thinking, once the foundations of our approach to business strategy, are being replaced by new principles of exponentialism. For leaders and organizations capable of making the shift from an incremental to an exponential mindset, there lies the opportunity to drive unprecedented growth.

The speaker line up already consists of globally-recognised business experts, including Randi Zuckerberg, founder and CEO of Zuckerberg Media and former director of market development and spokesperson for Facebook; Michael Porter of Harvard Business School and founder of The Monitor Group; and acclaimed best-selling author, Simon Sinek. Also speaking will be Gary Hamel, founder of Strategos and management expert; Martin Linstrom, author and Time magazine Influential 100 Honoree; Marcus Buckingham, author, motivational speaker and business consultant; and Dambisa Moyo, international economist and author. Additional speakers will be announced in the coming weeks.

Over 80% of delegates are director level and above, with an almost equal male-female split.

Hill+Knowlton Strategies has been announced as the Communication Partner for the World Business Forum in London, along with Media Partners City A.M., The European, and The European Business Review.
