Apex Hotels Joins Room to Reward in Donating Breaks to Nominated Volunteers from the Charity Sector

Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee, London, Bath – April 8, 2024 – Room to Reward, a unique charity that connects unsold hotel rooms with volunteers from the charity sector, is pleased to announce the addition of Apex Hotels to its list of hospitality partners.

CEO of Apex Hotels, Angela Vickers, expressed her excitement over the partnership, stating, “We are extremely proud and happy to join Room to Reward. It’s a simple thing for hotels to be a part of and a great way of putting our unsold rooms to good use. We look forward to welcoming some amazing volunteers to our hotels soon.”

Apex Hotels’ properties in Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Dundee, as well as London and Bath, will now be open to volunteers from charities, community groups, grassroots sports clubs, and other organizations across the U.K. for a well-deserved break.

Room to Reward has already provided over 2500 volunteers with memorable breaks at over 900 hotel partners across the U.K. These volunteers come from organizations such as NSPCC Scotland, Govan Community Project, Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance, Beatson Cancer Support, and many more.

Adam Terpening, Director of Room to Reward, expressed his gratitude for Apex Hotels’ support, saying, “We are absolutely delighted to welcome Apex Hotels to the Room to Reward journey. Their fantastic support gives the nominated Hidden Heroes even more of a wonderful choice for their break. We are hugely grateful to the whole team at Apex for their generous donations to help recognize the extraordinary dedication and impact of so many volunteers.”
