London, UK – QA Ltd, the UK’s leading tech skills and talent provider, has announced a new partnership with Microsoft that will see the integration of Microsoft Copilot AI learning into every QA apprenticeship programme. The collaboration between the two companies aims to empower the UK workforce with the necessary skills to thrive in an AI-driven future.
The initiative, developed in collaboration with Microsoft, is a significant step in preparing the UK workforce for the increasing use of AI across all sectors, not just tech. The integration of Microsoft Copilot into all apprenticeships will ensure that every apprentice, regardless of discipline, gains access to tailored Copilot training.
This unique offering includes digital learning, live webinars, and hands-on experience, providing apprentices with the best knowledge and skills in the most effective way. The partnership also supports the UK Government’s AI Skills Action Plan and Microsoft’s Get On campaign, which aims to help 1.5 million people in the UK build careers in technology.
Jo Bishenden, Chief Learning Officer at QA, expressed pride in embedding Microsoft Copilot learning into all of their programmes, stating that it goes beyond just tech skills. She believes that this initiative will empower every learner to excel in an AI-enabled workplace and enable UK businesses to stay ahead of the curve, leading the world in AI.
Jeroen Van Hilten, Global Partner Sales Executive at Microsoft, stated that the partnership with QA reflects their shared mission to democratise the effective use of AI tools and build a future-ready workforce. He added that by integrating Copilot into every apprenticeship, learners across all industries will be equipped to harness AI responsibly and effectively.
This latest step builds on QA’s market-leading AI and data apprenticeships, including new specialist programmes such as the Level 3 AI & Digital Support and Level 6 AI Engineer, which are based on Microsoft Azure AI Services. The integration of Copilot also aligns with QA’s market-leading ‘ways of learning’, which includes digital content augmented by their own AI learning assistant, Ela. Additionally, all QA content promotes responsible AI use, transparency, and fairness in line with the EU AI Act, providing peace of mind for organisations.
