Polarise Holding GmbH Secures Debt Financing Partnership to Accelerate Expansion of European AI Cloud Platform
Düsseldorf, Aug. 18, 2026 – Polarise Holding GmbH, a leading European provider of sovereign AI cloud solutions, has announced a partnership with SWI Stoneweg Icona Group (SWI Group) to secure debt financing for the expansion of its AI cloud platform in Europe.
The financing, worth a high double-digit million-euro amount, will strengthen Polarise’s funding base and support the company’s continued execution of its growth strategy. As part of this new financing structure, Polarise and SWI Group have agreed to transition their previously announced majority equity investment agreement into a debt financing arrangement.

Polarise specializes in developing and operating AI data centers, known as AI Factories, across Germany and Europe. The company’s unique modular “AI Pod” concept allows for fast integration of AI infrastructure into existing buildings with lower resource requirements than traditional greenfield construction. Polarise is also an NVIDIA Cloud Partner and NVIDIA Cloud Service Provider, providing access to sovereign AI compute through its own sites in Oslo and Munich, as well as its proprietary cloud platform for GPU- and AI-as-a-Service. The company has plans for further AI Factories, including one in Amberg, Bavaria, with an initial capacity of 65 MW and scalability up to 120 MW.
The new debt financing partnership will enhance Polarise’s capital structure and provide the flexibility needed to scale its platform in response to the growing demand for sovereign AI compute in Europe. The company is also exploring additional strategic and financial partnerships with international investment firms to further accelerate platform expansion.
