Notts Sport Unveils Revolutionary ShockWave Lineup

Last Updated on: 22nd November 2023, 04:08 pm

Notts Sport, a global leader in the design and supply of high-performance sports systems, has announced the launch of its highly-anticipated ShockWave Collection.

The Collection is a technological breakthrough, offering exceptional and unrivalled performance characteristics, as well as environmental and sustainable benefits applicable across various sporting disciplines.

Since its inception in 2014, ShockWave has been installed in more than 26 projects, with a notable example being the FIFA & World Rugby compliant 3G pitch at Preston School in Yeovil. This installation used Tarkett’s’ PureGrain as the surface infill, which avoids the use of rubber crumb infill which has recently been banned in the EU due to the intentional use of microplastics.

The Notts Sport R&D Department has been making advancements since 2014, meeting the requirements of customers who want the most sustainable design solutions for their sports pitch projects.

The ShockWave Collection has been expanded and includes ShockWave Onyx, which has a minimum 35% recycled content and is 100% recyclable. ShockWave Hockey X has been specifically developed and designed for hockey and the 2021 innovation ShockWave Platinum is 15mm slimmer than its predecessor with unparalleled critical fall height results of up to 2.50m.

Duncan Bennett, Managing Director at Notts Sport, said: “We are thrilled to introduce the ShockWave Collection which highlights the ongoing success of Shockwave in the sports pitch sector and bringing new technology and sustainable design solutions for a wider range of customers. Our team has dedicated extensive research and development to create this shockpad that addresses the evolving needs of athletes, facility managers, and schools. ShockWave embodies our commitment to innovation, safety, and performance excellence.”
