Senior Solicitor Kaleel Anwar has joined the central Manchester office of Stowe Family Law, the UK’s largest specialist family law firm.

Kaleel practices all areas in family law with an emphasis on divorce and financial remedy. He has advised a number of high-profile clients and on cases involving the ownership of multi-million-pound businesses and company assets, the international movement of children and pre/post-nuptial agreements, often involving an international element.

Kaleel also practices Islamic family law and provides Sharia compliant advice to national and international Muslim clients in relation to Islamic divorce. His work in Children’s Law has led to him being regularly instructed for cases in the High Court regarding international child abduction cases.

He said:

“I am delighted to be joining Stowe Family Law in Manchester at such an exciting time. I work with empathy to help my clients resolve their cases in the most amicable route possible. During my ten years working in family law, I have advised on a diverse range of cases, both nationally and internationally, particularly in the Middle East, South & East Asia. I look forward to bringing this and my expertise in Islamic family law and children’s law to the team.”

Gareth Curtis, Managing Partner said:

“Since we opened in November 2017, we have attracted an ever-growing number of clients and this has driven the need for us to recruit two new solicitors to the team. I am thrilled to welcome Kaleel. He brings with him extensive family law experience along with Islamic family law and children’s law, both of which will be a valuable addition to the team.”

Kaleel’s appointment, the second to the team this month, marks the continued growth of the Stowe Family Law Manchester office.
