Glass Pharms, a UK-based licensed cultivator, has recently announced a partnership with Mamedica Clinic to supply their own line of livery products with cannabis flower grown by Glass Pharms.
Glass Pharms specializes in growing a variety of medical cannabis flowers for the production of CBPMs (Cannabis Based Products for Medicinal Use) within the UK. Their selection now includes fourteen different cultivars, each with unique combinations of cannabinoids and terpenes. One of these cultivars, a THC:CBD Balanced strain, has recently met the strict 5.1.4 microbial standard without the use of irradiation. As a result, products derived from Glass Pharms’ flower have become increasingly prescribed by physicians at various UK clinics, including Mamedica, Releaf, Curaleaf, Integro, CB1, Lyphe, and Therismos.
Mamedica has been prescribing several of Glass Pharms’ products this year and has determined that the consistently high quality makes them a suitable addition to their formulary. Moving forward, Mamedica will be incorporating one of Glass Pharms’ most frequently prescribed flowers into their own line of medical cannabis products.
Jon Robson, CEO and founder of Mamedica, expressed his satisfaction with the partnership, stating, “We are really happy to be supporting UK cultivation and the quality of this product meets the exacting standards our patients expect.”
James Duckenfield, CEO of Glass Pharms, also commented on the partnership, saying, “Expanding the range of cannabis flower choices for prescribing options to meet all clinical needs is important to Glass Pharms and we are happy to announce this new partnership with Mamedica.”
Both Jon Robson and James Duckenfield will be speaking at the upcoming Cannabis Europa event on June 25th, where they will discuss the topic of “Domestic vs Import: Does it Really Matter for Medical Cannabis Supply.” Additionally, Glass Pharms has been nominated for “Producer of the Year” at the Business of Cannabis Awards, taking place on June 24th.
