Lawcomm Solicitors has generously supported Age Concern Hampshire in their efforts to provide festive celebrations for older people in the county this Christmas. A partnership between the two organizations has resulted in a successful event that brought joy and warmth to the lives of hundreds of older individuals.
On Wednesday, December 17th, members of the Lawcomm team joined clients and staff at Lockswood Care and Wellbeing Centre to volunteer their time and participate in festive activities. Their presence added to the festive atmosphere and helped create a memorable experience for those in attendance.
In addition to volunteering, Lawcomm Solicitors also provided financial support to Age Concern Hampshire. This allowed the organization to provide Christmas gifts, delicious food, and entertaining activities at all four of its Care and Wellbeing Centres. This support was crucial in ensuring that older people in the community were able to enjoy a special celebration during a potentially isolating time of year.
Age Concern Hampshire’s Care and Wellbeing Centres play a vital role in supporting older people, including those living with dementia, in Hampshire. These centres offer a range of services throughout the year, such as reducing loneliness, promoting social connection, and supporting overall wellbeing.
