“Grateful knus Wraps Up 2025 with Appreciation for Volunteers and Successful Progress”

Knus, a peer-support organisation focused on promoting human connection and community-led care, has closed out 2025 by expressing gratitude to its volunteers for their contributions throughout the year. Despite the challenges posed by the global pandemic, Knus has experienced steady growth, formed new partnerships, and made progress towards its major digital launch.

One of Knus’ major accomplishments in 2025 was the beta testing of its new app, which combines chat, telephone, and video support in one convenient platform. This app, set to be available on Apple and Android devices, will make it easier for individuals to book support and for volunteers to manage their availability. The full launch is scheduled for the end of January 2026, and Knus is currently inviting volunteers and members of the public to participate in the beta testing.

In addition to its digital advancements, Knus also completed two accelerator programmes in 2025: the Hatch Enterprise Accelerator and the School of Social Entrepreneurs Accelerator. These programmes helped strengthen Knus’ foundation and prepare the organisation for its next phase.

Looking ahead to 2026, Knus has secured a spot on Hatch Enterprise’s Sales to Scale UBS Deep Dive programme, supported by UBS Bank. This programme, beginning in January, will aid Knus in sustainable growth and expanding access to its services.

Over the past year, Knus has experienced significant growth within its community, with 210 new volunteers joining in peer support and administrative roles. The organisation has also welcomed new ambassadors who have helped raise awareness of its work. Knus has improved its training and social platforms through grant funding and fundraising efforts.

In the upcoming year, Knus plans to focus on launching its app after final testing, enhancing volunteer benefits, expanding fundraising activities, and forming closer partnerships with businesses to reach more individuals in need of support.

It is important to note that Knus is entirely volunteer-led and operates without any paid roles. Every service, platform, and initiative exists thanks to the selfless dedication of volunteers who choose to give their time and care to support others.

As Knus enters 2026, the organisation expresses gratitude for its volunteers who continue to make its work possible, and looks forward to the year ahead with confidence.
