The Heart of England Co-operative Concert Orchestra is pleased to announce its upcoming Autumn Concert, set to take place on Saturday, September 26th at 3pm at the Methodist Central Hall in Coventry. The concert, which aims to celebrate the changing seasons through live music, will also serve as a fundraiser for the Heart of England Co-operative’s Helping Hearts program.
The concert will feature a diverse range of well-known music, suitable for all ages. From beloved movie soundtracks like The Lion King and Titanic, to the iconic BBC theme Sailing By and the timeless songs of Paul Simon, the orchestra promises to take audiences on a musical journey through stage, screen, radio, and popular music.
All proceeds from the concert will go towards the Helping Hearts program, which supports various charitable causes and community projects in the local area. This concert is just the latest in the orchestra’s long-standing tradition of combining live music with fundraising efforts. Previous concerts have successfully raised funds for organizations such as Earlsdon Carnegie Community Library, Coventry City Mission, Global Care, Macmillan Cancer Support, and other community initiatives.
Tickets for the concert are priced at £11 for adults, £8 for concessions, and just £1 for children under the age of 16. They can be purchased in advance through TicketSource, with a QR code provided on the concert poster for convenient booking.
As the Heart of England Co-operative Concert Orchestra enters its 107th year, it continues to play an important role in the musical scene of Coventry. Proudly sponsored by the Heart of England Co-operative Society, the orchestra brings together talented musicians from the region to share accessible live music while also supporting meaningful causes.
Join us this September for an afternoon of fantastic music, ranging from beloved cinematic hits to timeless popular melodies, and help us make a positive impact in our local communities.
