Staffordshire-based Digital Defined Marketing is celebrating its fifth year in business with a relocation to new premises at Beaconside Business Village, Stafford — a move that reflects the company’s growth from a home-based start-up into a fully established digital marketing agency.
Founded in 2020 by Ben Clay, the agency began during the pandemic from a spare room. Initial work for friends and local contacts soon developed into ongoing client partnerships, leading first to an office at Shire Hall in Stafford and now to the larger space at Beaconside to accommodate further development.
The agency’s team now consists of Hannah (SEO Executive), Teri (Social Media Manager) and John (Web Developer), delivering integrated digital campaigns spanning SEO, Google Ads, content creation and website development. Over the past five years, Digital Defined Marketing has also invested in professional production tools, including cameras, lighting, drones, recording equipment and advanced software — enabling clients to access video, creative and technical services alongside proven marketing strategies designed to support business growth.
“Our approach is simple: businesses don’t need jargon, they need measurable results. We’ve supported training providers to fill courses, professional services businesses to generate consistent new business, and companies in manufacturing, construction and property to increase enquiries and sales. The move to Beaconside gives us the space to expand our team and keep providing hands-on, practical marketing that makes a difference.”
