Last Updated on: 1st July 2024, 06:04 pm

In perfect timing for Independence Day, the Airwave podcast network and renowned national radio host Michael Medved have launched THE AMERICAN MIRACLE WITH MICHAEL MEDVED, a weekly podcast delving into American history.

THE AMERICAN MIRACLE is inspired by Michael Medved’s bestselling books, THE AMERICAN MIRACLE: DIVINE PROVIDENCE IN THE RISE OF THE REPUBLIC and GOD’S HAND ON AMERICA: DIVINE PROVIDENCE IN THE MODERN ERA. In each episode of THE AMERICAN MIRACLE, Michael Medved will explore some of the most pivotal events in America’s ascent to prosperity and power, from the drafting of the Constitution to the Civil War. He will uncover a series of improbable and astonishing events that illustrate what the Founders always believed: that history unfolded according to a master plan, with destiny playing a crucial role in elevating the nation to greatness.

THE AMERICAN MIRACLE WITH MICHAEL MEDVED will premiere with two new episodes on 1st July 2024.

EP 1. Cigars: Lincoln, Emancipation, and Waiting for a Sign – At the peak of the Civil War, a fatigued Union soldier finds three cigars in an open field. These turn out to be the most significant cigars in history, providing President Abraham Lincoln with the sign he needed to free three million enslaved individuals.

EP 2. Two Close Calls: Franklin and Winston Dodge Disaster – In the early 1930s, within a span of fourteen fateful months, two violent American incidents nearly claimed the lives of the two most critical figures for the Allied victory in World War II. Both survivors always recognised the providential nature of their near-death experiences, and leading historians and acclaimed novelists have speculated how shifts of mere inches could have altered the fate of humanity.

THE AMERICAN MIRACLE is accessible on Apple PodcastsSpotifyAmazon Music, and all major podcast platforms.
