Why Two Entrepreneurs Are Causing Major Problems for The Royal Mail

Two Derbyshire based entrepreneurs, Oli Luke and Lee Callendar, are causing all sorts of bother for Royal Mail staff with their fast-growing handwritten mail-fulfillment service.

Scribble Mail send large quantities of handwritten letters in hand-addressed envelopes, on behalf of some of the UK’s leading companies, causing the Royal Mail all sort of problems.

By aiming to make all their mail look personal – rather than the typical promotional style that most UK businesses use – the two entrepreneurs are getting a lot of attention and creating industry-high response-rates.

Oli Luke says, “It’s really simple – if your mail looks real and personal, it’s going to get opened and be read – most mail that businesses currently send end up in the bin before even being opened”

Scribble Mail employ a team of handwriters that are tasked with writing letters, writing addresses on envelopes and applying stamps to the mail, sending hundreds of thousands each month.

The business is one of the fastest-growing direct mail fulfilment companies in the UK, and with more and more companies trying to bring a personal touch to their advertising, the two directors believe that Scribble Mail is set to soar.
