Microserve has won a competitive tender for a three-year contract with Oxford University’s internationally recognised Saïd Business School.

The Bristol-based digital agency clinched the deal following a competitive multi-agency pitch process which saw Microserve come out on top against other UK agencies.

The contract includes joint responsibility for all the business school’s future web development and will involve digital design, user experience and strategy work as part of the long-term collaborative partnership, working alongside the in-house team.

Drupal expert consultancy Microserve will also help shape and inform the School’s long-term Drupal web objectives and roadmap.

Saïd Business School currently has nine Drupal websites in total, for external, student and staff usage including five described as ‘business critical’.

Dan McNamara, managing director of Microserve, said: “We’re thrilled to be working with the fantastic team at Saïd Business School and to have kicked off the relationship in such a positive and collaborative fashion.

“The School is a really inspiring organisation with a clear sense of purpose and ambitious objectives over the next few years. We’re really looking forward to showing what a big impact our technical expertise and strategic insight can have on those objectives.”

Jane Collins, head of IT development and projects at Saïd Business School, said: “We were looking for a long-term strategic partner to work with us as an integral part of our team, bringing additional creativity, strategic vision and technical expertise. We are delighted to be working together with Microserve.”

Founded in 2004, Microserve now boasts more Drupal developer certifications than any digital agency in the UK. It has worked with a wide range of big-name clients including WWF, YHA (Youth Hostel Association) and Aviva.

Saïd Business School was founded in 1996 and has evolved to be one of the elite business schools of the world, embedded in the world’s top University, and aspiring to be a model of purposeful leadership. The School has a well-deserved reputation for excellence in a number of areas, including finance, entrepreneurship, social innovation and entrepreneurship, major programme management, digital marketing, tax, and more.
