Recently launched development and investment company, This Land™, today announces that it has acquired 20 new sites across Cambridgeshire as part of its plan to deliver a market-leading approach to the creation of desirable new homes and neighbourhoods across the UK. Each site will demonstrate This Land’s™ refreshing customer-led approach to the creation of places, focusing on high quality design and using intelligent insight to challenge the property development industry.

With an impressive pipeline of development projects, these new sites will deliver in excess of 560 new homes close to Cambridge – the fastest growing city economy in the UK. This Land’s™ newly acquired portfolio lends itself to a variety of mixed-use developments in both rural and urban locations. The new sites include a mixed-use site at Soham Northern Gateway; a new residential development at land adjacent Hereward Hall in March together with a range of sites in surrounding villages, including Brampton, Foxton, Wicken, Guilden Morden and Litlington.

This Land’s™ commitment to meet customer aspirations will be introduced across all 20 sites through the provision of a flexible and adaptable range of house types that will offer outstanding value for its customers, while commercial developments will generate high-quality and long term returns. This Land™ continues to pursue a range of development opportunities in Cambridgeshire with a number of sites identified to increase their fast growing portfolio by a further 1,000 new homes. Looking to the future, This Land™ will seek to widen its portfolio through the acquisition of a range of mixed-use sites across the UK.

With placemaking central to the ethos of the business, This Land™ has developed a design-led approach enabling customers to grow within their own home and provide purchasers with a unique opportunity to adapt to their homes as their lives and families evolve.

David Gelling, Managing Director commented: “We are delighted to announce This Land’s™ ambitious plans evidenced by the recent acquisition of 20 sites all located in Cambridgeshire, an area of significant economic growth. This Land™ is committed to going above and beyond for its customers through the delivery of desirable neighbourhoods and setting new standards for a future beyond the traditional house builder in the UK.”
